Do you stretch with fur out or in? Do you flesh or not? I need all the help I can get. Do you get much money for the fur? Thanks

Stretch fur in with an inspection window. Yes, they do need fleshed, but be careful in doing so because the skin is really thin and will tear easily. I only flesh 4-5" at a time and keep turning it on the beam. As for the money end of it, I don't think they are worth too much, but fur is fur...I skin and sell all mine.

Yes, fur in, inspection window. Just like a coon, minus the tail. Flesh with a dull blade, if possible. Be especially careful on the belly side.

I've gotten as high as $5.20 each for some at a NAFA auction last year, but average is $.25-$1.00.

Do show pics when he's put up. \:\)

People love to buy case-skinned tanned opposums, especially females, on ebay, because they show where the pouch would be to kids. Lots of teachers like to buy em.
