What is the best way to remove a mink from stretcher when i forgot to use a bellyboard? I tried placing them in the frezer for a couple of hours. did not work.

tap the nose of the stretcher on the floor with a sharp rap. this will usually break it loose. always use a belly board. hope this helps.

put the bottom of the board in a vise, put on leather gloves or mittens to help your grip and pull on the pelt.

take a winkler tail zipper and start at base of belly and rip it hard as rou can in a straight fashion, this will create a cut where the bellyboard should have been. When you take your fur to the buyer you will see a signifigant price decrease due to docking. This will teach ya to not get in a big hurry on something you spent so much time catching.

LOL

the towel trick works.... it also works on cats that have waited to long to be flipped.
