Well October is half over and although it's never been a bad business month, this year seems busier than the normal October. Do the

rest of you feel like that too?

Things are actually beginning to slow down now that bat season is over for us. Typically we slow down mid to late October but things can change at any time.

We're still busy. Now is the time of huge yellowjacket and bald faced hornet nests. Mice start trying to make their way in now also. I saw my first frost on a roof this morning.

Nic, funny you should mention woodies. I got a customer that has a huge swan feeder and the other day there must have been 30 woodies

gathered around it. The young drakes are starting to get feathered out and all in all it was a pretty colorful sight!

I agree, Paul. This month is busy. With Iran flying around, Syrian pro-Asaad forces, and bow Cuba....
Wait....trapping?

Having served your tour of duty is not enough. You need to stop reading, watching, and listening to the news in every way, shape, and

form. When was the last time your heard anything good from the lying media? You ever watch how happy and contented kids are? They've

got the Disney channel; you've got CNN! You can kick the habit.

Lol, I'm still going, Paul. Still active after 21 years. But I don't have anything against Mickey Mouse. Lol. I just started hanging out in ADC because the jack wagons are a pain and I like learning from you grizzlies.

October's been pretty slow for me. I've got most of my work this year from one commercial account and it started to dry up back in September.

I just got a call tonight from a woman with three skunk dens on her property. I'll be setting it up in the morning.

I'm hoping for a few more beaver jobs before things start to freeze up.

How to have the busiest day of the year? That's easy. Have two guys that can't work. The phone will never quit. Luckily the college

kids are off this week. You guys are right about skunks this year. My grandson just took off to a new skunk job and I've got one

waiting in a cage. It was 30 degrees Friday morning but it could hit 70 this week.

The last quarter of the year has always been my strongest.

This October has been my best month ever and the month is not over.

Love it!

That really surprises me, Coondog. December is always our worst month, followed very closely by January.
