I tried to use the search engine to find the best food for ground hogs. I entered information every I could, but never came up with anything. Any idea's on what I am doing wrong?

Maybe the search engine thinks you're talking about pigs that are made into sausage. I can't wait to see what they come up with when

you put in woodchucks!

That depends upon whether you plan on penning one to collect urine or to keep one as a pet or just curious as to their food preferences in the wild.

As far a dietary preferences in the wild they are primarily grazing animals. Preferring all sorts of native and cultivated green grasses/weeds, clover, alfalfa, timothy, Kentucky blue, crabgrass etc. as well as various fruits and vegetables when available. That pretty much covers your search engine information.
