Nittany Lion OP Don't call me Mister, Mister Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 14,992 Central Pennsylvania	I have a Diamond Brand #21 long spring trap that has a Pat. # 1585,525 stamped on the pan, I tried to research this trap and could not locate anyone mentioning a Pat # on the pan. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

snakecollector trapper S Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 649 S.W. Oregon,USA	The pat. I think is for the double jaws, what they called a "Frame Jaw". Some have "pat. pending" and some have the "patented May 18 1926". I think the pan with the pat. # is a later model.
