You will get the best results if you build it yourself. You know the keywords for your area better than any SEO guy. Type a page a day during the slow season and by spring you will have a pretty good site going. Content is king, only original content. Even change hard facts a bit, does not matter if the info is not 100% it is about getting your number in front of as many people as possible. Ad words is also a great tool, used it myself the first few years, or when a page is not performing. Even if you do not get a job from the click add words helps with traffic count. Good luck getting on the first page in California, lots of competition for that state.
