Was dying Friday, but jump starts got me going again. It wasn't to be this morning. The battery is toast. I'm driving my 12 year old truck which started with minimal grumbles at -20 yesterday.

We all run into that situation with the battery for one reason or another. I learn to invest in a couple of the better jump start packs to carry in each vehicle during the cold months. Has helped us and others out many times over the years.

After a couple times its best to get the battery checked for holding a good volt load at your local auto parts store if you don't have that type of meter. Then you know if you need a new battery.

Cheap insurance!

It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. (1 of Dads sayings)

Yes sir, when temps. are down that low, pays to a carry a jump pac, I leave it hooked up to the lighter port, stays charged I also have a pigtail from the battery that I can hookup a trickle charger when the trucks are parked. with all the crap that runs when the vehicle is off, runs them down quick.

I left the GPS on this morning and barely got it started at my first job. Sigh
