2 recommendations.
1. next time....stagger the joints in the floor.
2. Pin the logs with square hardwood stakes in round holes. NOT rebar.
Lots of work. You're doing a good job ! As a builder I also spotted that right away. But I figured it's already done and he must have had a reason for doing it so I didn't say anything. Having to cut the plywood with a chainsaw would be a good reason! I love the redneck pizza oven!

Made a little more progress this weekend.   Got a few more courses of logs up and started on the second story.   Got the 26 ft cross beam up. That was a Backbreaker but I managed to wrestle it up there also got all but one floor joists put up and fitted.

Good thread,nice looking camp going up.The squared off logs on the inside will make it easy to insulate and finish the inside if you choose.

That's what I'm hoping for should have a roof on in a few weeks. Then I can put the wood stove in and work on the inside when it gets cold.
