I just came into possession of a flip chart put out by Woodstream Corp. titled Trapper Training Program. Size is 18 X 24. Contained are illustrations of traps and basic sets. I assume it was put out in the late 70's to early 80's. Don't want to sell or trade, just a little history. FYI... This came from Illinois trapper Henry Clark who recently passed away.
Thanks,
Jim Palmer

Jim, that sounds like a great trappers ed. item.
Ol Henry was a true gem... he will be missed.

Expect to see these flip charts to come on the market, since they have been phased out
and power points are now in use.

We got them from our DOW here as a training aid for trapper education classes, I'm thinking early 80's. I have one or two around somewhere, they weren't very good since they emphasized potential conflicts between trappers and hounds men. If you can get ahold of Pete Askins he might be able to give you better details. Jerry Thomas, worked for ODOW back during our "issue 2" days and later went to work for Woodstream should know too. Jerry runs a bear hunting camp up in Maine now, not sure of the name though.
