Hi, You have a nice trap. The price really depends on what size your trap is and if you can read the pan. According to what I've seen there are two different dog variations of these traps, the direct tripping and the godless. Yours looks like it may be the dogless variation, and to complicate things more both types of the tripping devices have three variations each. Now with all that confusing stuff said it says in the revised Trap Collecting Guide by Andreski and Parr the prices go from $300 to $200 for the #1; $250 to $125 for the #2; $225 to $100 for the No.3. This is the book that I used for my price reference.

I meet a employee from the company around 10 years ago.The company received a letter ordering some traps, they had no idea where the fellow came up with info on traps that they once made ,he had seen a old add in a hunting magazine. The company sent a worker to the Orwell Pa. swapmeet, he was on a mission to find and buy a Eclipse Trap.He found a # 3 and bought it,took it back to his people. They have been at the same address for over 130 years.4165 5th Street Philadelphia Pa 19140 I believe the trap is now on display in there office. The trap making was a sideline of the company, employees worked on traps when other work was slow. They have not made traps for more than 85 years.Stopped making traps around 1927.

I've got some old pictures of Frank Terry with some catches in the eclipse traps. So they did catch fur! Frank once made the Jim Mast's line of lures. He operated out of Half Moon Bay, CA
