Excuse my ignorance on the topic, but I have no idea. I have a #4 and #14, need a #114 and am curious about the differences between them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The #114 has higher gripping jaws, a wider higher jaw than the #4 or #14. They are also a bigger trap with wolf trap springs not #4 size springs. Although there is one variant of the #114 that has #4 springs. The chains on a #114 are almost always a twist link welded chain with swivel in the middle. The very first ones had flat link chain with oval rings on them. If you search down a couple pages there is a post and pictures on the #114.
