Clif OP trapper C Joined: Oct 2014 Western md	I recently bought a #4 Newhouse for a wall hanger. I was cleaning it up last night and found this star stamped on the fram. Was wondering if it was from the factory or added by an individual? Also if someone could give me an approximate age of the trap would be greatly appreciated.

lots of mink trapper Joined: Jul 2010 saskatchewan/canada	IMO the star shape is a trappers mark, could be a ranch mark. Doesn't add any value to the trap IMO.
