I have The Trap Collectors Guide by Parr and Andreski and The Steel Trap in North America, what others are good for reference on old traps? Thanks

Those are the best 2 out there. There is a series of books by another trap collector but they are very expensive for the amount of info you would get. You would pay over $400.00 if you bought the entire series and you would have hardly any more info than you already have in those two books. IMO!!

If you join NATCA, they put out a bimontly magazine. There is lots of info in them and a place to buy sell and trade classifieds, that you can follow and see what stuff is selling for.

I agree with Nancy that the two books that you have are the best. If you can run across an old copy of The Trap Collectors Guide by Ronald B. Frodelius & R. E. Burt is would be a good one to add. The prices are very outdated and it is not very well organized but it had some pictures and drawings that can be helpful.

I actually took pictures of the alphabetical pages from the Parr/Andreski book and put them in an album on my phone. That way if I'm at a garage sale or flea market I have a quick reference.
