Does anybody have any ideas about how to trap field mice? They are too big for the small snap traps and too small for the bigger rat traps.

Regular Wire Minnow traps with some bread inside will catch a bunch. I do better with them then a tin cat which works good. I learned this years ago when I threw one on the river bank and while searching for another and walking around thru the weeds had to in a short time. I always have a couple set in the barn to keep the rodents under control.

These are cheap and work as long as the ramps stay in place
I put the ramps in line with the can and use larger wire and less PB, but you get the idea
In woods I pile some limbs/brush around it too.
