Here is the frist red of the year.

That coon weighed in at 24.5 pounds Matt. He's the biggest I've seen in my part of the world in a long time.

yep that's a good one. 20.5 is my biggest most dry land boar I catch here are right at 15 or 16.

Matt that is the 3rd large boar coon I have caught in 3 weeks within 300 yards of each other. The sets I'm getting them in are over 1/4 of a mile from any water except for a small 20 yard square cattle pond. The other 2 were like you said in the 15 pound range. They sure mess up a good coyote set lol.

Yes they do! For some reason the last two years my dry land coon catches are way up from normal I have set for 8 day and have caught four, all a long ways from water except for small ponds. Some I don't even know of a pond even close. I trap the the same places every year two.

Awesome Matt! Gus is aggressive with bobcats but he gives the coyotes plenty of room LOL

Well this is it for me and Gus. Hanging it up for the year. Too much dam snow for foot traps now. He was along for every single catch. He had a great 1st year and I am sooo glad I decided to get a trapline dog.
