For squirrels.

I've cage trapped well over 100 in my yard during past winter months, but my usual go-to black walnuts smeared with peanut butter bait offering is not working this year. My usual change up of field corn, suet and black sunflower seed isn't working either.

I know the trap is not frozen - trigger and pan are fully operational.

Any thoughts from you pros at this would be most appreciated.

Regards,

Jonathan

I use LT Gray's Black walnut bait...it is truly the best. If I could not get that I'd use Nutella with black walnut oil mixed in heavily.

salted peanuts , they find them totally irresistible .

Gone will be those whom have allowed themselves to be disillusioned beyond their primal instincts.

When using peanut butter make sure it is not the salted type but ,"natural crushed" the sugar in the other is the OFF factor.

Are your walnut viable or are the worms, weevils in the seed core? Giving them no appeal.
