Took some fur to Groeny today. Small sample size, not cherry picked just all I caught. 8 coyotes, 3 @ $85, 3 @ $65, 2 @ $50 ave. of $68.75. 12 coons, all 3x or bigger $11.00 and 1 early badger @ $12.00. Probably should have sent north to auction, but I am satisfied. Thought coons could have been higher.

I assume these were put up?

Woa did yote prices go up? I sold about 2 weeks ago and for my best finished dog i got 50.

That was for each. I thought they would bring more. All caught after Thanksgiving and bigger ones. I released the little ones. Traveling buyer was here last weekend and was paying $8 on the carcass for the large ones.

I'm sure it's coyote quality difference. Looks like his coyotes came from the NE part of the state and you are in in the SE part. Better quality coyote in the NE.

No I don't know about green coyotes. I was first in line and with it being -5, by the time I was done I was looking for a warm place. Lol

[/quote] I'm on the eastern edge of the sandhills. We have a decent quality coyote here. Go to the farm country north of me, not so much. Then they tend to be that reddish color.

I'm a little more east of you. I got 25 for mine, on the carcass.
