Whenever somebody asks for lists of favorite lures, NOBODY ever says, Leggett’s. Pete died in 2004. Ron is still at it. When I was younger and not very good at canine trapping, I used Leggetts. Back then I didn’t do well with their products, but then again, I didn’t do well with anybody else’s lures either.

Does anyone use their lures and if so, what can you tell us about them??

It's probably as good as any lure.

Those gentlemen have piled up the foxes with their lure. That's for darn sure.

I have caught fox on them. If you are on location, they will work. Not a strong lure if I recall correctly, more like using urine.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I started using it this year and have caught red fox with it. Many other red fox trappers swear by the stuff. I don't know the ingredients but it is not suppose to be just spiked urine. One squirt in a dirt hole the first time and just a few drops there after on remakes or freshening up the set. It is handy and quick and not suppose to contaminate equipment.

With the hundreds of lure makers out there, many are not talked about much .
Some of the best lures are not in the top 5 trapping supply catalogs .

I've used their K9 Exciter in the past and caught coyotes with it. The reason I don't use it anymore is I couldn't keep the coon out of my sets using it.
