Not quite 2018 back here in Wisconsin yet. 2017 had challenges and joys. Best of all, a new Grandson and hunting, trapping, fishing, and outdoor adventure partner was born. His Dad, my son, and his wife are doing very well for themselves and gave the little guy my name for his middle name. Got myself through some physical issues and seem to be on the mend. Survived a relatively serious mishap while duck hunting on the Mississippi, and was able to paddle myself back in to dry out and get warm. Wound up getting my dream job which will be the perfect transition to eventual retirement. Celebrated 35 years of marriage to my best friend and companion through all kinds of life, who puts up with and supports all that I am and do, and who laughs with me every day. My life is good.
Wishing you, Jonathan, and all who read this a happy, safe, prosperous, and joy-filled 2018! This place, and those on it, are sometimes a wonderful diversion and many times a great help through life's challenges, but most of all maintain connection through sharing a love of the outdoors. Happy New Year!
