Out trying to find some coyote tracks and came along this run in the snow

Animal is coming and going into the creek

Have caught mink here and our otter are few a far between

Run is 7" wide. What say you?

I'm hoping for an otter. The creeks and lakes are frozen tight. But there is open water at this location

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Looks like mink to me.
Those tracks look pretty small. And In most cases an otters tail would rub out all the tracks.
Unless of coarse a mink went down an otters trail after the otter passed.

That was a flatfooted Canadian jackalope. Chewing a kit kat. Saturday.

And an otter. Lol.

What I failed to mention in my post stating that it was an otter is that I've never seen where a mink can make a 7" wide run!

Otter, set a 220 or 2 and find out. Find a submerged pinch point..
