Years ago we used to sell fur at this place. I don't remember what town it was in, but wasn't that far out of Michigan. I cant remember the guys name that owned it, but he was always more than fair when he bought our fur and appreciated what we had. On years when we had a large harvest he would drive to us and buy our fur. The last time we sold to him, he told us that his health was not good. I always had a blast going to his shop and looking at all the hunting and trapping supplies. I'll never forget he had a guy that worked the counter in the shop that was big enough to hunt bear with a stick. He always had a pistol on his hip that was almost as big as him. No one in their right mind would have messed with this dude in the first place. Just wondering if the place is still there ? Great memories going there and selling fur to that guy and what a cool shop for hunters and trappers. Thanks.
