I use castor in one form or another at every one of my land sets, everything likes beaver. I use more castor for fox and coyote trapping than I do beaver trapping. Havn't bought any lure/bait in quite a few years but my 2 favorite commercially made lures were trapper arts nitro and hawbakers red fox 100. I have caught everything from weasels to wolves using those 2 lures.

have not tried O'Gorman, but I like Minn red and will try this combo eventually.

Either, or you can use castorium..........liquid castor that some tincture.

Lots of good ones out there. I got some from Mr Boone Liane that I did well with, Mr Jamison has some products that I wouldn't want to trap without and his bait solution is great, tried some of Mr Weiser's products this year they worked great. His "Old Reliable" seems to be irresistible to the coyotes here.

How long is the bait and lure effective in 15 below zero weather? After a week or two should I be rebaiting and add more lure to a set? The bait I'm talking about is in a dirt hole.
