I have perfected the coyote fleshing method.... I pay a kid who does an incredibly good job and removes the ear cartilage too.

What do you pay for him to flesh and take out the ear cartilage? I have had a couple ask me to skin and flesh for them, but dont know what its worth

I wouldn't skin flesh and board for less then $10.00. And that Isn't going to happen her In WI with all the $15.00 coyotes we catch. LOL

If I was trapping In Kansas or the Dakota I would jump right In there and pay more then $10.00

I pay him $10 for coyotes, $8.00 for fox. I send all my furs to Moyles for tanning. I haven't sold my furs but I know I could get $75 plus. Right now I have about 50 tanned coyotes.

I’ll guess I’ve pressure washed somewhere in the triple digits coyotes, badgers and fox. All sold and all I heard from buyers were positive comments about my fur being well-handled. The fur buyer giving the grading demo at the Wyoming rondy in August said that’s all he does. Yes, there’s a learning curve but if you think you can’t wipe out a hide with a fleshing knife, well...

You better buy a good hazmat suit and face shield. Find a closed off place with a good screened drain for the runoff. It is a learning curve just like using a air compressor under the hide to skin one. smile
