Well had a great season so far, because I had fun, and learned a lot. It was my last winter break from college that I'll ever get since I'm graduating this spring. I took advantage. I trapped predators for 8 days, ended with 8 yotes and 5 fox. Then I went on a beaver trapping trip with my boss who loves trapping beavers. I had never trapped beaver before, so I was pretty excited. I went to a lottery earlier this year, and got the number one spot on my list with the 6th pick. We set traps the day after Christmas. Unfortunately, we were only able to check for one day before we had to pull them, the cold front was coming and the river was freezing over, but we still caught 8. I caught my first one in a 280. It was cold out on the water, but I'll never forget it (and I can't wait to go again). Also did a little taxidermy over break. I'm no professional, but it's something I've been working on learning, and very slowly getting better at.

School started back up this week, so it's back to class I go.

ENJOY and goodluck to everybody on the rest or your seasons.

I apologize for the way the pics are. I always used photo bucket before, I used postimage this time and it made them all small until you click on them.

You did extremely well, especially considering the weather and short time frame. Hats off to you.

Thanks fellas! Definitely worked pretty hard at it. I always feel like I should’ve caught more, especially with the snow and seeing all the tracks.

Blak Spot you could imagine the looks I get driving through town. My car was a mess inside and out by the end .

I have been there, lol, in a 96 chrysler cirrus. Had a homemade rack on top. Coons and beaver hanging off it, yep quite the looks!

Good job!

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Thanks again everybody! Excited to start prepping for next season.

Blak Spot I thought about making a rack on top, but I ended up utilizing my kayak straps to go around the trunk lid. They are easily tightened and loosened. The three yotes on the trunk are from the first day. I used a long piece of 16 ga wire to tie them together lol.. I wasn't prepared for 3 of them.

Everyone would see my car, and tell me I needed a truck. I show them that picture and say "what for?" lol
