My dog wont touch a cut off beaver front foot, but will carry around, chew, naw on the back foot.
Just curious if anyone has tried these at a canine set.

I haven't tried them, but I think I understand why it doesn't like a front foot. Nothing to really chew on, but plenty there to poke it in the mouth. The hind foot however has a lot to chew on with very little to poke.

I'm sure it works for coyotes and others, for curiosity if nothing else, but they may also like to chew on it.

A back beaver foot stuck in a dirt hole was the first coyote set I ever made 17 year ago or so. A old trapper told me how to make the set and I would have caught a coyote but I didn't know any thing about traps freezing up so the coyote danced on my trap got my beaver foot and left.

Matt28. Reminded me of my first fox set. I cut off a possums front foot and put it sticking up in the dirt pattern between the trap and dirt hole. Had a grey fox the next morning. Man I was on top of the world lol, Digger
