So you need a phone and a laptop to post pics on Tman? Sounds expensive! Sounds like a lot of work!

You do not need a phone.If you take pictures with a camera,you can load them to the computer.That is how I do it.I only have a flip tracfone,I am old school.

Stopped using photobucket 10 years ago. Saw the warning signs back then that PB was going to do something irrational. If I post a picture, its either hosted here(and I dont need to email or use a third party site to post pics from my phone) or the website in my signature.

there are work arounds out to view those blocked photo bucket images.. this is for firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-fix/?src=api

so either way it sounds like a pain in the suitcase...and stuck in the stoneage..ok well maybe another 10 or so years i will check in and see whats new then

Well if we ever convince people to let Paul upgrade to UBB 7.6 it might be easier for people to post pics from phones. But only a few(literally) voted in favor of that in the poll IIRC.

So how exactly do I get pics from my computer to T-man? I don't have the pictures I want to post on my phone. I've had a couple of my teenage girls try it and even they can't completely figure it out.

I have had 7 or 8 diffent phone and have figured out how to post pictures from them all.

When I want to put pics from my computer on here,I have to edit them and reduce to 18% then save.
Then just hit the house with the blue arrow,browse,open, add file from pc,then hit all done,then submit.

Pics on photobucket aren't lost. You can go to your library, click on the pic and save them to your computer. Sign up at imgur.com, load the pics there, copy/paste, et voila !!

Only the people that used photo bucket in the first place, have some of the pictures that don't show up , been posting pictures for years and their still all here .

It's not this site , it's the site people used to have their pictures at .

Many sites have the same thing going on if people post using photo bucket .
There's millions of pictures that don't show up on threads on millions of sites .

Goldy , if you have your pictures in a file on your computer, do it the same way as on the phone .
Sunset with blue arrow, go to your file with your pictures, click and add just like on the phone .
Once in a while I need to crop a picture so it will load .

Yes , many probably don't know that .

Thing is , it's only good for the original poster .
Any pictures that they posted on a past thread , they would have to repost them again for others to see them .
Thing is too , many past thread can't be edited after a certain time or if their in the archives.

Bsnow this site has nothing to do with it. It was all on photobucket. There is an option for direct upload to the site. So in reality t-man is out of the stoneage.

As for the archives there's nothing Paul could do about that other than hire a team of trained monkeys to save each picture before P-bucket did it's thing, and then go thru and redo each and every thread that had a picture attached to it.

I don't know if the Photobucket fix doesn't work for people on here or what, but I've posted it a few times and thought it would catch on.......at least to save the archives here.

I can see every photobucket photo on every site I go to. No more of that "speedometer" icon telling me I have to upgrade.
