I'll argue with you on the rebar stakes... I would say 3/8 minimum. 1/2" doesn't hold that much better to justify the added weight.
Other than that I think you did a fine job.

Mike Always wondered what size was most commen or needed. But 1/2 inch x 24 inch works great staking out my wall tent every fall
