The wringer part Is the best part. You can tighten It down and wring just about all the water out of the hide. Then take your air compressor and blow out the rest.

Do yourself a favor, and get an automatic. I washed in an old wringer machine till the motor gave out, couldn't find another, so I went with an automatic. Never go back! The spin cycle alone is worth having the machine. They come out dry enough that you just pop them a couple times and put them on the stretcher. When you turn, put on a dry stretcher, dont want to put a wet stretcher back into a dry coyote! Been doing it that way for years. Fans on at all times. I can usually turn within four hours, but will depend on the humidity in your shed. I totally agree Lee, I will never got back to the bucket wash, spin cycle works wonders ..I found an auto for free and it ended up being about 8 years newer than the one I use in the house so just switched them out..

The main reason I went with the wringer is after trapping season, I can shut the heat off and not worry about freezing up the washer. I suppose there is a way to blow water out of an automatic. When the old wringer gives up, I'll probably go modern. Larry, when your done and going to turn off the heat, just pour a little RV antifreeze in it and turn on the pump for a minute, problem solved!

Good info there. That was my concern as well.... I may just put it in the unfinished part of the basement.

Anyone use one? Got any tips or advice? Specifically coyotes is what I was thinking of using it for. It doesn't take a wringer washer for that. Just a kitchen sink full of luke warm to cool water and some woolite will do. A two minute swish will darken that water, and lighten that coyote bigtime. Up here, they are rolling in this dark soil we have, and they seem to be a filthy animal, after looking at that water, lol. I think it's what they roll in that gets them dirty.
