One of most entertaining days I ever spent was in an Alaska Trappers Association booth at the Fairbanks Earth Day "Environmental Fair!" Spent the entire day explaining to the local earth muffins the theme of the booth: "Natural Fur is the Environmentally Sustainable" Choice!"

As one might guess, some of them have issues reconciling their position on trapping with environmentally responsible behavior!
