does anyone on here make their drags from stuff around the house that doesn't have a welder, or do you use stuff from the land?

Big logs, 6 to 8 inches in diameter and 6 to 8 feet long work good. Make mine out of sucker rod and cotton spindles, but I have a welder.

Old truck rotors are great for DP drags. I use a cable extension and then just stick the DP in one of the stud holes. Works great on concrete barn floors for ADC work or for speed trapping

Today I used a railroad tie plate I had at home. It's probably around 5 lbs.

Hahahahaha, 5'9", 140lbs. Most of them have been laying a while and are dry, but still pretty heavy.

I got some from a guy on here and all I had to pay was the shipping. Worked out to about $0.10 each. hahahaha
