I don't do a whole lot of snaring, but when I do I end up with a mess. Snares tangled, loops inside of loops. Not real efficient. How do you guys transport your snares on the line to keep from having a mess?

I make about a 4" circle and weave the rest through the loop. I do the same with my extension cables. Takes a little time but they stay coiled fairly well and do not get all tangled up. Bigger loops are quicker but the tag end does not seem to stay in the loop as well for me.

Cheap Ziploc sandwich bags. I can bag a snare with a cable stakes attached.

Wish I had more time to trap....

I have a 12" piece of 4" PVC. I fastened It to a 2'X2' piece of Plywood. I filled It with sand so It dosen't slide around In the truck bed.
I just open the snare and place the loop over the pipe and snug It up. I can have 20 snares on this pipe. I don't have any tangles. I just grab the loop and slide It off the pipe. Most of the time I only have 6 snares on the pipe.
Works pretty good.

1 snare/CR to each zip lock baggie. Throw in a piece of hemlock branch (substitute your local tree branch) . Keeps them clean, organized and smelling natural.

Coil them up neatly, make at least three wraps with the tag end, and place them in a 5 gallon bucket. I don’t recommend hanging them, or draping them. If coiled properly , and layed in a bucket I have very little issues that way. I can store hundreds that way.

I do exactly the same but store and carry them in a one gallon tin coffee can . I place pieces of sage or leaves from brush in with them to cover some of the scent and when lid is closed it is watertight and no spillage .

Thanks for all of the responses! I was initially afraid to coil them like I do with extensions, but it looks like most of you do that with good success so I will try it too!
