Hello

I got a mink today. Very excited but it's getting late in the evening.

Can I skin it out tomorrow? Or, like with muskrat do I have to skin it out "same day?"

Thanks.
Dave

It will be fine in a cool location for a day or two and so will muskrats.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Should be fine but my last mink had just ate a big meal of duck because I found the duck and followed tracks to my trap and he had green belly next mornin but was still fine once fleshed

I skin most my water critters the next day so they have plenty of time to dry fur, no slippage issues
