I do not sell raw pelts, but I know most trappers do. Thought I would start a thread about prices if for no other reason than to help the new trappers to know what to expect

So if anyone is on board a thread just to compare prices for fur from around the country

I got 30 across the board for my green coyotes. Didn't matter if they are rubbed or had mild case of mange but the only requirement was to leave the feet on. Took all my fur at current prices along with skulls, bacula and even a few carcusses. Local buyer only pays another $2.00 for finished fur and with this deal figured I could do worse.

Ya I didn't get it either, both were the same size and color, I sold them that way to see what the difference would , if it was worth the work. I think one buyer said he thought he was bidding on the other otter and stopped. Seems the green otter sold well with what was there, $30 to $42.

I don't remember the last fur I sold green. Probably when coons were 30 - 40 dollars and fox and coyotes about the same. I put up everything these days because I just like to do it.
