I've caught a lot of small ones doing ADC in the summer. But this is my smallest one during season, and very small for this late in the season. A mere 15lbs

I'd guess a either a late born kit, or the runt of the litter. Seems more times than not I trap a colony and there is a runt among the kits. Down here they have them across so many months that small ones are not uncommon, at least that how it seems.

If you are considering yourself to be someone of influence and importance, just try ordering someone elses dog around sometime.

Those seem like you could case skin and they would tan into choppers with almost no sewing.

Choppers are leather mittens for those below the snow line.

Yep I was not thinking when I skinned that one, I like to case skin those little ones, great for crafts and handbags

If you are gonna tan them, no need to dry them. If you want to dry them, I would just leave them leather out cause you are not taking them to auction so it doesn't matter.

The tails on those little ones are always the best indicators of just how small they are.
