Hard to beat anything that Lee makes, and it would be hard to find a better guy to deal with. I'm gonna get me one of the small fleshing knives he started making for Zagger this year. I love the one I have, but a smaller one would be nice when doing a lot of coons. I broke my driver last season also so I might as well get one of those too.

Just call him or PM him, he will hook you up as soon as he starts welding again for the year.

X2 thousand. Ain't a better man and his products are unmatched.

Lee, you know darn good and well what I almost did here when he mentioned knives. Figured I'd throw you over the edge if I did it outside the chat room. Lol.

I have used one of Lee's wolffang drivers for 2 years. Very high quality, shows no sign of damage. Also, I have a Deathray that is 3 years old. Highly recommend both. Think I will be ordering one of his knives before fall. You can't go wrong with anything Lee makes.

Lee's wide knife is second to none. Makes quick work of beaver and coons.
My death ray will be here soon

This is my first year finishing my fur. Lee has visited twice with me on the phone and has helped me tremendously. I damaged the knife I bought from him and he is going out of his way to repair it for me. After the gentleman teaching me to flesh coons and yotes used my knife he ordered one immediately. Thank you Lee.

I hate to sound like one of those California warning labels that take all the fun out of things, but I want to be clear: The driver that I bought from Lee was sold as a driver. It was not sold as a stake puller, and I wouldn't expect Lee to honor any sort of warranty on it if I were to bend or break it using it for pulling stakes.

I also don’t expect to damage it either

It's a very tough driver, and so far, so good using it to pull stakes!

I pass the driver through a mid-swivel, and then I lift up on the driver's tip. The driver's handle stays on the ground, and I use the leverage to pull upward on the trap's chain. As the stake comes up, I reposition it as needed, until I am able to easily pull the rest by hand. I have also used it to pull some disposables too. Improvising on the line is all that I'm doing. Using what I have on hand to make it easier to get something done.

Lee's look OK. I use these from "rednecktrapper" and they are the only ones that didn't need replaced after a few weeks of use. I have never used Lee's, but have tried lots of others. My first day trapping in northern Maine I had several cheap drivers and within three or four sets I had none.

Fang drivers are something that ya can’t go cheap on or you’ll regret it. I make my own Berkshire drivers but not wolf fang. Rarely use berks at all anymore. Really liking fangs.
