Coyotes went dead so we tossed out a short mink line

Now the coyotes are back
She hit the pan with two feet in the jaws, I'm guessing one was next to pan and she decided to switch feet for digging and the second one hit the pan

Thought I would go without a fox this season haven't even seen many fox tracks thus season, the coyotes have been hammering them

But this one hit a remake from a raccoon catch from last week

Sold fur

That was just half. Already sold the other half. Then caught a couple coyotes and a really cool colored coyote. The blondest one ive ever seen.

She sure is a pretty one Possumcatcher, looks like you had a good season, nice job!

Things are that slow here Michigan Trapper, I pulled all my canine sets after Christmas, 6 weeks and only the 1 coyote so I cut my losses, ran some rat traps with the boy for fun and people keep yanking my traps out of the huts and not making it worth it, had 0 luck with the short mink line so pulled them too! This was my best season by far and I will be getting ready for some spring beaver trapping when the ice is out. As my kids get older and start Kindergarten I will hit the trapping much much harder! Hoping to make Mark June's academy in 2019, we will see though.

Trapping is easy you say? You try getting your target animal to step in a 3 inch area of its whole territory.

Picked up 4 skunks in the last week, Probably many more this week as it gets in the 50's

Got these two yesterday just 40 yards apart. Not big white stripes like the other two, but they will be used all the same

My son picked up this rubbed coyote this morning. Same set he caught one in early October, he re-lured it over a month ago Compass set.

6th coyote from this 38 acre property
