Newhouse Bear Trap Pan On Ebay now # 15, #6 Look new are they Repros ?

Del Skeim trap pans. Made around 2001.

No holes in Pans, to attach to base

Should Be Marked COPY, hope not a NATCA member

I did see some of Dels casting molds sell a few years back so it is possible some parts may be being produced again.

The first clue on the No. 6 S.Newhouse Kenwood N.Y. marked pan is, Oneida Community who made the Newhouse traps originally, never made a #6 Kenwood marked pan, the #6 ' either had "Community" or "Oneida Community" marked pans. The other size bear traps, 5 15 50 150, all had pans that were marked Kenwood N.Y., but not the 6.

Also another thing to notice on the 15 Kenwood N.Y pan, if you look at the picture of the underside of the pan, you see a flat spot on the shank where it tapers into the middle of the pan, this was where a serial number was stamped for the reproduction Wisconsin issue that Del Skeim made, the original Oneida Community Newhouse 15 didn't have that flat spot.
