hard not to be jealous when our season closed Jan.8 th or something like that.not having my ny this yr for the first time in a long time has brought out to me how messed up pa season is.i'm usually across in ny and don't notice.

Giant! I'm jealous your still at it! Dont you have fruit trees to look after? Just til tomorrow beaglador. Ive got just a few sets out for mink/rat. Fruit trees are on hold for now. Still at least 6" of snow on the ground. FIrst nice day its time for at least copper on the peach trees. Looking at new peach cultivars for Maryland. WOuld love to get a few in the ground this spring.
April is autism awareness month. Nearly 1 in every 100 children are born with an autism spectrum disorder.. 1 in 100. Stop and think about it...please

Sorry, not to hijack the post but pcr2, if you're putting out oaks you may want to check out Ken Asmus (Oikos Nursery) up in Michigan who specializes in sweet acorn oaks.

mud,i've planted 50 fruit trees in the last 3 years.along with 400 red pine which i swear have buck rubs on 50 this winter.last spring i started 400 red oak trees from sprouting acorns.last fall when i put them up,the were stout 18 in trees.hopefully they'll make winter.i now know where to go with fruit tree questions. I know half as much as I should Pcr. But I get enough peaches and apples to keep me fat and happy for a couple months lol. An ounce or prevention is worth a pound of cure. Words to take to heart on fruit.
