I wonder how many students would have participated if it was scheduled to be at 3:30 or on a Saturday?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Probably very few, Paul. Some did for what they believe, most did it just to get out of class, some are just restless teenagers looking for a clue.
Hopefully the youth will become more interested in what is going on in the country and find some way to end the huge split between the left and right in this country. We are leaving them a pretty big mess to clean up.

I'm sure alot of rural school kids walked out with good intentions, but make no mistake about it, the organizers are anti-gun.

Here's the next one planned.

At least they are now calling it what it is, anti-gun.

Lots of money behind school kids to bus all these protesters. Follow the money and guess what it leads back to.

This will divide our country even farther apart.

I raised my kids to stand up for themselves. TO bad others have raised theirs to follow and be used for propaganda.

Florida had an armed police officer. He decided to do nothing. The good guy with a gun did not stop the bad guy with a gun in that instance.

Maybe armed teachers could have been an answer or deterrent, but if we can't afford pencils and paper for classrooms how are we going to afford a concealed weapon and training for teachers? Of course, many will be against raising taxes for such reason.

Kids taking their safety into consideration is not liberal brainwashing. We are born with Constitutional rights, even if you don't agree with their use.

Frankly, the more school shooting that occur the more danger to our second amendment. You better act now or have less of a leg to stand on in the future. You can sit back and trade kids for your second amendment rights but eventually you will wish you acted sooner.

And of course throw out libtard, brainwash, agenda, indoctrination, and other buzzwords but the truth is there. Time to listen to kids and do something meaningful. No where am I saying to ban anything, but it's time to find a common sense solution from both sides.

I saw where Crazy Bernie Sanders was inciting students to "STAND UP TO THE NRA" yesterday at a walk out.

...He was escorted to and from the podium and surrounded by an armed police accompaniment the entire time...

Eh...wot?

Again if the parents give a crap if the teachers give a crap these kids wouldn't slip through the cracks and feel a shooting is there only out!

Common sense would be to actually enforce the laws we have already.

Common sense would be working on solutions on dealing with mental issues.

Common sense would be to crack down on bullying.

Common sense would be to educate students and not use them for political agendas.

Where does common sense come in on punishing millions of legal gun owners that have done nothing wrong?

I just watched a bunch of video's from yesterday's student protests. Nearly all the walk outs I saw were turned into anti-gun rallies with lots of NRA bashing. Liberal teachers and politicians have used this horrible massacre to further push their anti-gun, anti-2A, anti-American agenda.

I find it to be disgustingly immoral. Filling naive and impressionable teenagers' heads full of lies to push a personal ideology is reprehensible.

Unfortunately, these low-lifes are winning the battle for our nation's youth.

So when they Walk back in, they should be made to write an essay on why they Walked Out .

I like that idea.

But I am sure the influences are done in the class rooms already.

The day will come schools will be boycotted as now teachers and politics have gone to far on using public schools for their agendas.

That line should of never been crossed to this degree. Liberals don't believe in freedom they believe in control. Anti American.

I encourage my kids to stand up for themselves but I also teach them to know what and why they are standing up.

I had to write a paper about why obtaining a liberal education is important. I am NOT liberal and do not see why this was relevant to my career. This was for an online college course for my second degree in nursing. I can only imagine what they teach in public schools now.

One problem is that teachers spend more time with the kids then the parents ever could so it's a ripe environment to "mold some clay" into what they want them to be in the future.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!
