Nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade, just better ways to do it without becoming a detriment to those who support the 2A.
As for compromise how in the Hades do you think the Constitution came about? Compromise is okay as long as it passes the litmus test of the U.S. Constitution.
As for the bump stock ban I don't believe it passes that test.IMO. So as a member of this organization I would recommend that they no longer endorse candidates but simply provide a track record of their history on the 2A.
Anyhow there's a march today of a segment of the population that is becoming more and more communist in it's thinking and having tremendous influence upon our youth. That's who the fight should be against!
I could word it any better. Too many over look what is going on in the back ground.

If you own a gun and want to keep it I have always said you should be a member of the NRA period some things I don't agree on with them but their still the gun owner best voice.

Government making sin legal does not make it right.

How come the more "gun control" we get, the more people we get crying for more? No matter what attempt is made to compromise with people bent on enslaving themselves, it's never enough. When are freedom loving firearms owners going to tell those infringing on them to stick it in their ear??????????????? Embrace freedom. Don't pretend infringements on the bill of rights is a good thing.

Just think where we'd be without the NRA.
Who are they down there protesting today?.... Finn and Danny?... Don't think so.

They are down there protesting against the NRA because that is us gun owners and the biggest obstacle in there way of taking guns from us.

How is anyone shocked that Trump doesn't support the 2A as promised in the election?

It's going to get worse, boys.

As the old saying goes, we are all in the same boat. While most of us are either rowing or bailing, FF is getting a free ride, while mocking the working members of the crew and rocking the boat.
For all the good its going to do FF you may as well cast your next vote for a dill pickle for president. Same chance of that happening as your current person of choice has at that job.

Let's go Brandon

"Shall not comply" with morons who don't understand "shall not infringe."

We all know you have to have a NFA stamp to own an automatic rifle.
We all know you can not yell fire in a full movie theater.
We all know bump stocks are akin to rolling through a stop sign.

^ common sense...

Bump stock was a way around existing federal law. You may not agree with nfa but it is law.

I thought the NRA's official position was against a bump stock ban?

I like my freedom unlimited. Bump stocks mean nothing to me but it fun to see the true colors of the Republicans and the NRA.

If Bush would have allowed bump stocks and Obama would have banned them, nobody on this site would have found it to be "common sense."

See Finn I disagree with both Marty and Diggerman on this issue. When we start outlawing accessories to firearms, even bumpstocks, we are headed down a slippery slope. Sure hope they don't go after scopes. I get more and more blind every year.

I just do not see enforcing existing law as a 'new' law....you can portray it as that if you like too but it really is not.

Complain all ya want to about Trump but just realize what would be going on if the other candidate had won.

Trump just banned transgender in the US military....I suppose that was a bad thing also since it is a loss of freedom and all...those pesky signs on the bathrooms are an infringement of freedom.

So let me get this straight Finn. You refuse to join the NRA because of compromises they have made in spite of the huge amount of good they have done in supporting the shooting sports, gun safety programs and the second amendment.

You stand firm on your principles and convictions and ignore all the good stuff because joining such and organization might sully your snow-white morals. Does that about sum it up?

Can you please explain then why you verbally and financially support a PETA-loving, second amendment-hating, anti-gun, vegan freak like Rob Zombie? Do your principles only apply to the NRA?

Eh...wot?

When bump stocks came out I knew problems would arise. I to think they pushed the bar to far on modifying guns to simulate full auto.

But I also don't like giving anything back. The age requirement has me more upset.

So if I was to add a thermal nuclear bomb to my AR it should be legal? so if it , anything,a dill pickle, is attached to a firearm it becomes untouchable?

NRA reminds me of a friend I had in my younger years. They had a big mouth but would fold like a dove on the first shot.

I prefer the GOA over the NRA,but outside of a little ribbing, what good is it going to do to bash an ally.If they are pro 2nd(even for the most part)they are a friend.

So you never support anything but condemn those who do? You would vote for a candidate that would never win giving the one you don't want ever a better chance! Ya I got it, sounds more like a Government program then you realize. LOL
