SO was coming home last Thursday and a moose hit me! Just driving along, doing my thing, there was another car coming and I noticed it was slowing down a bit, so I got off the gas, wondering what was going on then a moose barrels out onto the road, I slam my brakes and the moose hits me while I am doing about 30 mph, hit near the front wheel, and broke out the back window. In hindsight I probably should have sped up. Thankfully I was only two miles from home, and was able to hobble it there.

So this is what I am driving around now.

Luckily i havent wrecked my truck but i was with a friend when he screwed his up good. We were coon huntin and drivin through a alfalfa field about 2 month ago. There was a little snow and it aas drifted on the back sides of the terraces. Well the dummy was driving right up and over the terraces and instead of going at an angle. We went straight over the wrong terrace... popped the top and there was a little drift and he went through it then kaboom. There was a giant hole under the drift. It was probably about 5 ft deep because there was a orange tile drain and the top of it was about a foot below the top of the hole. When the front tires went down it hit so hard the truck popped out of the hole. My head hit the plastic trim between the door and winshield and he hit the steering wheel hard. I actually broke the plastic trim in half. We went to my place and the collision bent the frame in about 2 in and the hood over about 2 in. It bent the bumper and grill guard up about 6 in too. After about an hour we got the hood to where we could pop it with a screw driver. A few weeks later he fixed the hood in shop class. I ended up getting a mild concussion from the impact, and he got grounded for a few weeks from driving. I think he found out why you drive over terraces at an angle

I slid into a pole with my truck on my way to work. The roads were covered in about 2 inches of slush so when I got to the corner it just went strait, the only thing it did was dent the front bumper in a bit, and get coffee all over the place lol

I love the tires I got, The General Grabber X3s. On dry asphalt I can pin it to the floor and it just takes off instead of burning rubber like I could with my old tires. Lol

I really like the hackook dynapro mts. That is what I ran on my dakota and theyve been tested hard lol. Only been stuck once and I was burried up to the frame in wet hard snow. Been in mud up to the doors before and they dug out. Both of my trucks are posi track so theyll leave two black marks lol

I was sitting in the middle seat of a 70 Chevelle when we did 55 into a rocky ditch but somehow I've managed to stay ticket ancrash free aside from some minor off-road scuffs even with everything I do laugh

Once loaded a buck into a Scout. A few minutes down the road I looked in the mirror and it was standing in the cargo area. Its head was about even with mine. Stopped to let it jump out so it could be shot again, but it laid down and died.

I know this thread is pretty old, but I finally turn sixteen and a half in 58 more days (not that I'm counting). Which means I have to get the trapping rig going. Been working on it a while, fixing a million things on it while I'm supposed to be trapping. Got the transmission in a day or so ago, now for the bed, paint, etc.
