Eddie is a true gentleman, strong man of Faith, and talented outdoorsman that all of you men on here would approve of

After asking permission from my Dad, he started making a sign from a tree he cut down, cut a slab from the log, planed it, sanded it, and stenciled the words "Would you like to Trapper your man forever?" on it, planned a whole day, then surprised me down by the river at their acreage!!

All I'm gonna say is this better not be the end of pics from a hot girl (without even trying, BTW) who loves the outdoors and has critter blood up past her elbows. Those kinds of things give me hope for the future of the human race.

Congratulations I Met my wife and started dating at 16 married at 24 so together 28 married 20. It not common these days and great to see. Keep God as the foundation and you can't go wrong!!

When I saw how old the thread was I figured the update was either kids arriving or some other life event of note. Hopefully not a divorce! LOL

Yes, very old post!
Here's an update for you all:

We've been married for 6 1/2 years now, we have a 5 year old daughter and another one on the way! (due this spring)
Eddie hasn't trapped in many years, but for me coyote trapping is still my biggest passion and I've never missed a season. I now backpack my daughter with me on my line and also teach about it often. Eddie focuses on bowhunting instead.

We moved across country a few times and now have the perfect acreage in Ohio. We really are living our dream! We have sheep and other livestock and run a few small-business (like Tight Chains Co., my screen printing t-shirt company for trappers! I do everything from designing to actually printing) and I am blessed to start homeschooling and keep our home in between the busy of life. Eddie's a professional Tree Climber and is very skilled leading his crew.

We have for sure "been through the fire" of life with lots of challenges and hardship, it hasn't been easy. There's been a lot to work through down to the deepest level, but we never gave up despite it all. But NOW we are truly living our dream life and get to use our testimony to impact others. Eddie is also a leader for other men through a group called Reclaim.

I can confidently say marriage is so easy and fantastic I wouldn't change our story for the world. God has had his hand in this since the beginning, with all the puzzle pieces to lead us where we are now, and to think we still got a long way to go
