Weiser bag and Jumbo Carabiner Clips work well for me. I use a jumbo clip to keep the two handles together, and I also use it to hang it on stuff, when needed. Works well with a golf cart. I use the shoulder straps when walking with it.

Lucky I caught that beaver. Made it much farther through that snare than I am comfortable with, but he still came home with me

When I am serious about running snares only, I use a large snare pouch/satchel from Rally Snares. I also have a 6"x8"x12" satchel pouch for carrying about a dozen snares or support wires. I also use a military surplus canteen pouch that snaps on my belt that allows me to carry a dozen+ beaver snares with extensions and wolf fangs.

They're just ways to make my life easier...

I do use a weiser beaver bag, love it. I got a loring basket as a gift and would like to set it up .I went on lorings website to see if they sold pouches or tool holders. Alas they do not. Figure some of the members made their own . I’m looking for ideas!

If it has a place to clip onto, there's all kinds of things you can add. I hang several different pouches or coils of zip tied snares/drowners on my bags. I also put several quick connects onto a single one and hook it onto a ring.

Glove clips may also be an option for you. I carry cables and wires using glove clips. Hang em wherever they're out of the way.

Wish I could be more help..

Good luck....

I have a Loring basket and I put a fanny pack on it from Walmart. Put the waist strap all the way around the top and then used some 16 ga copper wire at 4 places to secure it. Works great. Has two pouches. smaller pouch has a roll of flagging tape and a pr of wire cutters and the big pocket holds my lures. A lot cheaper than the loring pouch.

Weisers bags best all of my previous setups. I have one of both, and will order another beaver bag for cat trapping as soon as they are back in stock?

I started out with a milk crate pack basket, which is my favorite. It weighed about 20+lbs empty. I switched to an ALICE pack with garbage can, which was about 15 lbs. Both had the MOLLE ruck shoulder straps and waist belt. They are very comfortable, but weigh a lot. I carry my stuff, so I decided needed to cut pack weight.

I decided to try the Loring, as I have eyeing one for some time:

I dislike equipment bouncing around and used PVC pipe as holders. I used this on my previous packs and it worked well. I cut the pipe so I could bend it around the top of the basket and it could maintain the accessories where I wanted.

I boiled to soften and then molded it to the basket. It worked fair. I then took sand paper to them and painted them, hoping the scuffing would hold the paint.

It scrapped off.

I decided to take a torch and darken it by scortching. It softened the PVC and it became very easy to mold. It worked great.

I am not sure if I like the pouches. We'll see how it works.

The sledge head up makes sense for the hammer holder, but it always made my pack top heavy and tippy when I set it down to do something at a set. The weight of traps in bottom offsets that at start of season though, so does a catch if you carry them in the bottom of the pack.
On days where I had no catches and no extra traps along in the pack, I swapped the hammer to be head down and it felt better on my back plus didn't tip over as easily if I set it down on the ground.
Nice pack set up, you did a good job and that looks like the real deal there!
I have an old Carpenters belt with all it's tool and nail pouches, etc. Attached to outside of a five gallon bucket. It's not a great system though but works for now. My kids' old school backpacks get recycled often on our line too. Please don't laugh at my little Batman backpack, that sucker has toted a lot of bait and lure for many seasons! AKA the utility belt, at least that's what the boys call it.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

My son was just recently gifted an Ishman pack at Minktoberfest from Moon. I will be paying attention to some of these setups. That Loring looks very well thought out.

Not a Loring, but my Fiber-Tuff. I try to keep everything on the OUTSIDE and save the inside for traps and catches.

I like the exterior set up. What is the shovel kept in?

It is a "trowel sheath", I believe. We have them at my shop. I think they order them from Granger or Fastenal.

Not a loring either.
Just put on what I call a lazy man leaner

Anything that saves me a little time at a set is a good thing.
Still have a wax paper holder and trap cover dispenser to install on my lazy leaner.

I like your "lazy man leaner", Wetdog. Pretty cool that you can attach things to it. The skids on my Fiber-Tuff really help with stability. It never tips over anymore. I have thought about making a small box to attach to the top of the skids, but, it's already fairly heavy.
