We sold a lot in the 90's thru FHA.They wanted them skinned and dried.Both front and back attached along one side so there was a good size piece of leather after tanning. Price was $3 for large tails,If I remember right over 5 inches width before skinning-no damage. Smaller than that value was only .75 cents. We dried them with screen. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
