Watched a Red Fox hunting this afternoon not far from my favorite brush next to the woods. I was able to get a few camera takes while watching it before it took off. Considering the habitat type, my hunch is that it nabbed a young rabbit to take back to a den. There really isn't enough detail in the images for me to positively ID the prey.

Nice easy to locate a fox den they leave a mess in the area around it if you know the general location! Sweet pics

Mange wiped ours out 25-7 years ago, within two years were had coyote take over, they moved in and exploded in population, no fox to eat mice n ect, they exploded fast here, now unless we kill nearly all coyote, the fox has no chance to recover
