Yes, I am cheap. However, cheapness has nothing to do with it. Rights are free, they exsited before the introduction of the government. By shrugging ones shoulders and go along to get along by paying a fee, asking for permission, undertaking a background check you legitimize the mockery that the constitution has become. So, until these hindrances go away (psst, the NRA and Republicans aren't working too hard for them to go away) I will not be buying a handgun or carrying one for self defense. I will have to resort to closing with Cold Steel until then.
One could say that one could carry a pistol withOUT having papers, but the underlying truth is that there are many many law enforcement officers who would arrest you over an unconstitutional law, and many prosecutors who would charge and convict you for a piece of paper.

It's one thing to support, or not support a certain group. It's ok to say your piece why you do or don't.

I've voiced my displeasure of the NRA for their stance regarding the Harrisburg outdoorsman show, but i didn't, and wouldn't, discourage others from joining them. That would be cutting your nose of to spite your face. Any numbscull knows the NRA is fighting for our rights.

I personally am going with the GOA. After some research I decided that if I'm gonna back someone who is gonna back me, it'll be a Org that doesn't compromise like the NRA. Not knockin NRA supporters but don't understand ya's lol.

Don't be like the main stream media, tell the whole story about how some of the democrats have staged a sit in for stronger gun control measures. The democratic legislator who organized the sit in, said she was doing it because the republicans wouldn't budge on tougher gun laws.

I just donated $50 to the NRA. After reading this thread they need it more than ever. If it wasn’t for the NRA, this thread would be discussing why we can’t own a firearm in the USA any more.

Just went to the GOA site the have never compromised to any Federal legislation and fully support bump stocks, so surely Finn IS a member there or does that cheap thing kick in again then?

Just out: Nancy Pelosi pledges if the democrats take back the House they will immediately move to gut the second amendment. Everything will be on the table, gun bans, national gun registration, stiffer background checks.
