Took a little time today to film one of a pair living near my yard in the share.

Me and my Alaskan grand sons shot and trapped 82 one summer. But they just keep coming back.

I call them "pine squirrels", but they are really American Red Squirrels.

Some great pictures of an animal that can make a lot of noise when it wants to .I do no see them often but they are a lot of fun to watch as they scurry around .My grandfather introduced me to hunting more than 50 years ago now . He really enjoyed squirrel hunting and would occasionally take one to add to a gray squirrel or two he may have gotten that day .Thanks for the pictures .They bring back memories of my early days

Pine squirrels aren't cute they are extremely destructive.

I sure wish we could use snares on Squirrel in Wis.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Tasty.
Homemade squirrel and noodles is my favorite.

I will gladly feast on those who would subdue me.

I have not seen one for some time since I left MA. I use to hunt them and gray back then . Now here we have the grey and red fox squirrel I sell the skins when in season and eat them. The auction put the red and the red fox about the same for what they sell them for . but I have a fur buyer that buy the skins of grey and red fox .You put them up like the old way of the mink.and on mink boards.
