On the oak I've used linseed oil with a mix of turpentine. Thought I'd break them out, knock off the dust and give them a fresh coat before snowfall. What's everyone using out there, for those who use them?

and I thought I was slow to adopt .. time to hand those on the wall ..the bindings on metal snowshoes are 10,000% better than those old buckle styles .. you can walk uphill, downhill, cross hill and underwater with no problems at all!

Metal snowshoes are garbage compared to well made traditional ones.They don't keep you up on the fluffy deep snow.You will be wore out after a couple hours breaking trail with metal snowshoes.
You will go all day long on a good pair of wood and babich shoes made to match your size and weight.
