Alright, tomorrow night after it thaws ill be grinding up a bunch of beaver meat. I have had good luck in dirt holes with the meat and some castor mixed in for coyote and fox. Wondering if anyone has ideas or recipes for something close to this?

I would just add a bait solution.

But that's not as fun as making it myself haha. And I didn't plan that far ahead. I may just grind a bunch up and put sodium benzoate in it and decide later.

I'd make 1/2 with just castor that has been working for you AND 1/2 with a bait solution.

What books do you have for guidance?
Are you on the FREE book plan?

Have you looked in the Archives?

Bait solution would be here before the meat is ready for it.

If you want to do it yourself you can’t hardly go wrong adding some honey or molasses or both. The honey has a natural preservative!
