Was going to order a 5lbs. bag of flake wax for waxed dirt and the website said "can not ship if temp. is over 80* or wax will melt into a block". With our temps being in the upper 80's low 90's and all the states is passes through, is it truly a bad idea to order wax this time of year ? -Thanks

I ordered and received a 10 lb. bag and it had a softball size of solid wax in the center.

Ya, better play it safe and wait for cooler temps and just make it with heat lamps or oven in the fall. It hit 95* yesterday, making dry dirt fast and easy.

Kryon, do you have instructions on how to make it in the oven?

You can't cheat the mountain pilgrim. Mountain's got its own ways.

Watched a you tube video. Guy used a roasting pan low heat and stirred often.

To save on shipping, I buy at our state convention. You can check on the quality that way also.

Just got 20 pounds in the mail today, one bag was fine and the other is a little solid in the middle. I will take a knife and shave apart the solid block and it will break up easily. I had one bag in the shed turn into a huge block and I shaved it with a knife and was just fine. I wouldnt get too worried but thats just me.
